The Nanny Advantage was founded by Cynthia Measom due to her interest in
providing quality in-home child care to families. She understands that searching for and securing a responsible caregiver
for our precious children is very difficult.
Cynthia is a thirty-seven year old mother and a certified
teacher of the elementary and secondary grades. She also holds a credential as a childcare center director. Cynthia
has over seventeen years of experience in the care and education of children. Beginning in 1991, while obtaining her
B.A. at The University of Texas at Austin, she worked as a counselor and co-coordinator for the YMCA of Greater Williamson
County after-school program. She was also employed by a nanny agency as a nanny. She has been a teacher,
a child care center owner and director and has worked in the child welfare field as a caseworker for the Texas Department
of Family and Protective Services.
