Job Code: CR100
Type: Full Time Permanent Nanny (Works more than 30 hours weekly)
childrens ages: almost 11 months - girl
almost 3 months - girl twins
jobduties: We need a brave & experienced nanny who is not uncomfortable with the
idea of 3 infants:  11 month old girl and 3 month old twin girls.  We have two
positions available.  The hours for the first position are Monday  Friday,
7:00am to 3:00pm.  The hours for the second position are Monday  Friday 3pm to
11pm.  Backup nanny applicants accepted for other shift positions.  Please note
which shift(s) you are applying for when contact us.

11 month old girl is extremely smart and she is learning to walk, she is into
everything and she is very loving and sweet.  She loves her books and
educational videos and she is doing some sign language.  The twins are just
developing personalityone of the girls does have a period between 7 and 9 where
she is having some gas/stomach pain and she likes to be held and rocked during
this time  she is a bit high maintenance during this time period.  The other
twin is as sweet as they come, very laid back and used to waiting her turn with
her more demanding sisters.  They are all super sweet, wonderful babies and very
easy to love!

This job includes travel.  It may be every month, it may include weekends and
occasional holidays.  If you are interested in this position, please have the
flexibility to travel.  We must hire someone with this flexibility.

Candidate should have experience with infants and preferably with multiple
children.  Would be a plus to have previous NANNY experience  we have found that
those with daycare experience do not realize what it is like to work in a family
home, and sometimes have difficulty adjusting to normal nanny job requirements.
One of our current nannies had no previous nanny experience but she has twins of
her own plus an older child  this worked out great as she knew what to expect
from our situation.  It is very important to us that someone be on time &
responsible, honest, caring, warm, great with babies, and that they really want
to work (please dont apply if you are only interested in texting, reading books
& playing on the computer or watching tv, this is not the job for you!)
Candidate should be low drama and able to leave personal issues at home and
focus on our babies!  Candidate must be fluent in English, nonsmoker, non drug
user with no criminal background.

If you live in any area other than south, west, or central, this may not be the
job for you.  We seem to always get applications from north Austin, Round Rock,
Pflugerville, Hutto  we have had only one nanny who has successfully worked for
us driving from Round Rock but usually this distance only results in someone
being late or burning out from the drive.  We are out Bee Caves Road near the
town of Bee Cave  mapquest the town of Bee Cave for an approximate drive
time/distance from your home and we are just a few miles closer to Austin.

If you have an aversion to light housekeeping (this includes washing bottles,
wiping off counters, putting dishes in dishwasher, stocking refrigerators,
straightening up, laundry, helping unload the car, bringing in packages,
checking to make sure dogs have food & water, taking out trash, etc.) split
between 5 nannies, this may not be the job for you.

If you are unable to lift, the job may not be for you (mom has a heart condition
where she is not supposed to lift, and dad is expecting to have his second
surgery this year.)

If you are a very sensitive person & get your feelings hurt easily, dad is very
blunt and this may not be the job for you.

However, if you are a loving & caring person who feels you can handle multiple
babies and a bit of light housekeeping and laundry, and you really enjoy
interacting with and having fun with the children you work with (not just
sitting)  you will enjoy the beautiful environment, the sweet little girls, our
boat on Lake Travis, frequent opportunities for trips, and a great stable job in
this uncertain economy at a time that avoids traffic both coming and going.  We
are interested in someone looking for a long term position and NOT as a fill in
of time until they can find a position in their other field.

Please respond with any questions, send your resume if you have one prepared,
and briefly tell me about yourself & why you feel this might be the position for
you!  Thank you!!
